The Businesses for Families Council (BFC) aims to make Singapore a country of choice for families, by encouraging businesses to be family-friendly through strategies, services and infrastructure that cater to families.

Launched in 2010, ‘We Welcome Families’ Award is a prestigious award conferred on businesses that demonstrate the highest standards of family-friendly business practices. The first of its kind in Singapore and probably the world, it aims to establish Singapore as a country committed to encouraging and equipping businesses to adopt strategies, implement infrastructure and provide services that benefit families.

1. ‘We Welcome Families’ Excellence Awards – conferred on businesses with leading ‘We Welcome Families’ measures; and

2. ‘We Welcome Families’ Achiever Awards – conferred on other commendable businesses that do not receive ‘We Welcome Families’ Excellence Awards, but aspiring to achieve excellence in ‘We Welcome Families’ measures.
