To make this June school vacation a fun one for the entire family, the Jurong Bird Park will also be holding month-long weekend activities. Visitors can meet and take pictures with some of the feathered stars of the park at an exclusive Meet the Stars session on weekends at 11.45am and 3.40pm. There will be guest appearances by Sassy the sulphur crested cockatoo, Harriet the wreathed hornbill, Quincy the yellow headed Amazon, Otto the yellow-naped Amazon, Barry the green-winged macaw and Rooney the dalmatian pelican.

A roving parade will make its way around the park at 12pm and 1.45pm with colourful and fun performers on a unique float. Stilt walkers, a fire twirler, a unicycling jester, a juggler, a belly dancer, a magical fairy and a parade master will entertain park visitors, who can also take part in face painting, henna art and cupcake decorating from 10am to 4pm at the main panorail station.
